The Hollywood Project — Transforming Housing, Transforming Futures

The Hollywood Project stands as one of ABS Consulting Services’ most inspiring and impactful new development ventures. In partnership with Better Place To Be, LLC, this initiative is poised to bring meaningful change to the Hollywood community of Shreveport, LA. Better Place To Be has secured seven adjudicated single-family properties throughout the area—with a bold vision: to convert them into high-quality multi-family homes designed specifically for veterans.

These residences will serve a full spectrum of needs, including medical and non-medical support, and both assisted and independent living. The goal is to provide not only safe and stable housing, but an empowering envir

onment where veterans can thrive with dignity, support, and connection.

ABS has been entrusted as the project manager, overseeing every major step of this transformation—from rezoning and construction to staffing, policy development, branding, and marketing. Our role also includes building the long-term operating framework and tracking the project’s progress and success as it unfolds.

But this is just the beginning. Upon completion, ABS and Better Place To Be will continue working side-by-side, cultivating a long-term partnership committed to intentional community development and generational impact. Construction and planning efforts are set to officially begin in January 2026, marking the start of a project that will reshape housing options for veterans and elevate the surrounding neighborhood for years to come.
