Media Release & Recording Permission

I, the undersigned parent/guardian, grant permission for my child to be photographed, video recorded, and audio recorded during participation in the 808 & Soul Drum Lab program.

I understand that these recordings may be used for:

  • Promotional videos

  • Social media content

  • Website and marketing materials

  • Educational and program documentation purposes

I acknowledge that:

  • No financial compensation will be provided for use of these materials

  • All recordings become the property of Crescendo Academy / 808 & Soul Drum Lab

  • My child’s image and participation may be publicly shared in a positive and professional manner

Participation Agreement & Liability Release

I understand that participation in drum and music activities involves physical movement and the use of equipment.

I agree that:

  • My child is participating voluntarily

  • I assume all responsibility for any minor injuries that may occur

  • Crescendo Academy, 808 & Soul Drum Lab, instructors, and hosting partners (including Morningstar Baptist Church) are not liable for injuries, accidents, or lost personal items

I confirm that my child is physically able to participate in this program.

I give permission for my child to appear in highlight videos, interviews, and promotional storytelling content related to the program.

🥁 Full 8-Week Summer Session
June 1 – July 20
Includes the complete 8-week training experience and final graduation showcase.


🥁 4-Week Half Session
June 22 – July 20
A shorter accelerated session for students joining later in the summer. Students will still participate in the final graduation showcase.


Classroom Drum Set, Practice Area, Training Materials, Sticks and Wristbands all included.

Sessions will be held every week at:

Inside the Auditorium, on the 2nd floor.

808 & Soul Drum Lab is more than a summer program. It’s a space where rhythm builds confidence, creativity finds purpose, and young people discover what they’re capable of when discipline meets passion.

Whether your student is picking up drumsticks for the first time or already feels the beat in their spirit, this experience was created to inspire growth, teamwork, leadership, and self-expression in a way that feels exciting, authentic, and connected to the culture.
Spots are limited, and once registration closes, no additional placements will be guaranteed.
