Eden Butler
Business Executive | Entrepreneur | Creative Strategist | Professional Musician
Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Eden Butler has built a career where business leadership, creativity, and community empowerment intersect. After relocating to Omaha, Nebraska, in 2014, she founded Phoenix Under Fire, a creative marketing company serving businesses and nonprofit organizations. Her entrepreneurial journey eventually led her to become Executive Director of the GROW Nebraska Women's Business Center, where she supported more than 500 entrepreneurs across seven counties and oversaw nearly $3 million in business grant awards in collaboration with Nebraska Department of Economic Development.
During her tenure, Eden led organizational operations, program development, financial oversight, and strategic partnerships designed to strengthen small businesses and expand regional economic opportunities. Working alongside the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), financial institutions, and philanthropic organizations, she managed organizational budgets, maintained funding compliance, and secured more than $400,000 in financial support during her final year. Her funding partnerships included FNBO, U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo Foundation, BMO, PayPal, The Sherwood Foundation, Lozier Foundation, Weitz Family Foundation, and William and Ruth Scott Family Foundation, among others.
Today, Eden serves as Chief Operating Officer of ABS Consulting Services, LLC, her family's business and financial consulting firm in Shreveport, Louisiana. Drawing on her experience in economic development, organizational leadership, technology, and strategic partnerships, she is helping strengthen local businesses while advancing a broader vision for workforce development, youth mentorship, and sustainable economic growth throughout North Louisiana.
Equally accomplished in music, Eden began as a classically trained brass musician before discovering her passion for drums in 2004. A three-time Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards winner, she has performed with nationally and internationally recognized artists, including Twista, Dominique Hammons, Leah Jenea, Mitch Towne, and Enjoli & Timeless. Today, she continues her musical career alongside Southern Blues Hall of Fame artist TK Soul, performing as a percussionist with his all-female band, FLOSS (First Ladies of Southern Soul).
Whether leading organizations, developing entrepreneurial opportunities, or performing onstage, Eden brings the same commitment to creativity, collaboration, and excellence. Her vision extends beyond individual success, focusing on building meaningful partnerships, empowering future leaders, and creating opportunities that leave a lasting impact on the communities she serves.
